You'll not find a better Buddha
A friend showed this to me the other day. It's a deaf dance troupe performing; they've practiced for ten years together. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

I should add foam padding at foot-level to every hard surface in my house.
Got up to use the restroom on Sunday night, and proceeded to slam my right foot into the kerosene heater (which weighs about 30 pounds and is built like a sack of iron). Not at all like stubbing my toe, this HURT. I applied ice and elevated it, and took some ibuprofen, but the next day the fourth digit was a bit swollen (swollen and red at the 4th proximal phalange and slight bruising at the 3rd and 4th metatarsal) and still hurt to walk on it. I went in to have it x-rayed, but nothing was visible on the shots. The doc said it's probably a hairline fracture as those are hard to see even if you have the angle just right. He prescribed what I assume are some anti-inflammatories and gave me some stuff to tape it up.
I'm trying to stay off it, but there's nowhere to elevate it at work and I do have to walk around quite a bit. I'm hoping it heals up in a couple weeks before my trip to Singapore.
This is one of my students showing the international sport of connecting several straws together to make one long straw. As you can see, Japan is not all that different from America.
