Dragon Canoe!
Sunday morning, when I was otherwise bored and had nothing to do, I decided to ride my bike to the river. What do you know, but the Kami-town Dragon Canoe Race was on! One person sat in the back, on the rudder. Another was in the front with a drum, a la Ben Hur (ramming speed!) The others indulged in some "Row Row Row Your Boat".
Unbeknownst to me, but knownst to my supervisors who were also there, there was an amateur segment, which they intended to enroll me in. And so, in my jeans and black t-shirt, I found myself aboard a dragon canoe, with a paddle in my hands. No, I was not on peyote.
