I just got my destination back from JET. The place I’m going is called Kami-machi, about halfway between Sendai and Naruko onsen (hot springs, oh yeah). It’s mostly farmland; the population of the entire 460 square kilometer area is just under 30,000. At that rate, I’ll probably have my own small house there, and I’m assuming I’ll either get a moped or do lots of biking. I hope my accomodations will be somewhat close to the school, but at this point I really don’t know.
