I take my comment back. Orchids need to be grown in a greenhouse, and there’s no way it can grow wild on Aobayama. More likely to be yuri.

I stopped and wondered about those flowers too–very pretty and I’d never seen anything like it before, certainly not wild. I was thinking some kind of lily since I’m always hearing about suzuran and yuri in Japanese but then I don’t actually have any clue…
