Here’s a surprisingly well thought out and well-written article by Gen. Wesley Clark about the differences between the collapse of Soviet rule during the Cold War and the current forced regime change in Iraq.

    This guy should have been the Dem. nominee, not Kerry… I saw him speak when he came to Tucson, was very good. Hope Kerry picks him as VP.

    A good read – but it took a long time to explain something that is far simpler than what he makes it out to be. Isn’t it ironic that we as a nation now face the same external factors that eventually brought down the Soviet Union?
