my age

So apparently all the women in Japan think I’m 25 or 26 (in reality I turn 22 in a couple days.) Glasses make their estimates go haywire, and I generally get better impressions with contacts. Why is that?

Enjoy it while you can. Americans usually peg your age at about 17!

I think I’ve been told the same thing, but I’ve never experimented asking people my age with glasses off because I don’t have contacts.

It’s the 20th over here right now – HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF! :)

Wow. Women here usually peg me at about 30 or 31, and think that I actually have enough money to buy $40,000 cars.

Japanese people’s thoughts – all Kianu Reeves look-alikes must be about as rich and old as the real thing.

Suddenly I’m glad that I never asked anybody here how old they thought I was. Not that I’ve ever asked anybody at home that. Don’t want to hear it.
In any case, glasses may make people look older, but they definitely make them look smarter.

Glasses, not only they make people look smarter but they make guys look.. Shouldn’t really write my personal views on men here hehe. But it has the same effect of guys having short hairs on me. It all depends on the person, but generally speaking so. ;)

Ouch. My slowly-growing fro-like hair is starting to hurt.

Japanese people’s thoughts 2 (hypothesis) – all Hugo Weaving/Agent look-alikes must be about as rich and old as the real thing.
